One company gave me a tech assessment was completely non-related to my job role or ask me anything which I did day-to-day. After HR screens and software manager interviews about my experience, projects, background etc: I am a mid-level FE developer I have had two rejections recently whereby the interview process and assessments were arseways. ![]() TPM's I was interviewed worked as a Product Owner before joining Amazon (as per their LinkedIn).ĭo anyone has insights on the TPM role at the Amazon Dublin office? What they do and what exactly are they looking for? After 10+ hours of interviews, multiple back-n-forth with recruiters, I felt cheated. (we don't have specific job titles, like Technical, non-tech, etc.). I'm like, WTF- every interviewer had my CV, which clearly mentions that I'm working as a Program Manager with Engineering teams at another large tech co. Today, I got a call from the recruiter that although the panel very much enjoyed the conversation and I came as a strong candidate, and a good fit for 'Amazon'- I'm unfit for the role as a TPM and would be a good fit for Product Owner. The interview started in December last year with multiple phone screenings with senior managers in the US, followed by written exercise. I was recently interviewed by a panel of 5 people for TPM (Technical Program Manager) role at Amazon.
